An Uncommon Skill Set
It’s uncommon for a residential architecture firm to offer HVAC design, energy modeling and performance verification services yet your architect needs these skills to create an integrated design. HVAC design is often left to the subcontractor who may or may not do the design work required. Energy modeling and performance verification is often left to a third-party verifier brought in after the design work is done… when it’s too late to make improvements.
We learned to offer HVAC design, energy modeling, performance verification and more in an effort to find the best balance of design and performance for each project. We’ve built a skill set to incorporate those elements into the design, coach the project team up to the requirements you wish to achieve and verify performance for you.

We offer a robust list of technical services to help you solve challenging problems. These services address home performance, HVAC design, health + comfort concerns, variances, building evaluations, inspection responses, permit + inspection support and coordination services. These services can be stand-alone support or paired with other services to provide the advocacy and leadership you need for a successful outcome.
Consulting Services
We offer a broad range of consulting services to address issues like restyling, historic preservation, resilient construction, planning, aging in place and mobility that may not be part of traditional services. These services also include design for amenities like elevators, offices, family archives, emergency power, fire sprinklers and water catchment.
